Disasters don't just impact people-they uproot the lives of our beloved pets, too. When families are forced to flee their homes, many leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their pets in their arms. At Hatching Hope, we know that pets are family, and they deserve comfort and care during times of crisis.
That's why we launched Paws of HOPE — a special program providing comfort kits for dogs and cats displaced by disaster. Each kit contains essentials like food, treats, collapsible bowls, and comfort items to help pets feel safe and cared for during uncertain times.
Paws of HOPE was created in honor of longtime supporter Tammy Wyble of Arlington Properties and her beloved dog, Teddy K — a constant source of joy, loyalty, and unconditional love. In Teddy K's memory, this program stands as a tribute to the unbreakable bond between people and their pets, bringing comfort to four-legged survivors when they need it most.
Because when disaster strikes, HOPE should have paws, too. 🐾
